Anhui Province covers a total area of 140,000 square kilometers, with 16 prefecture-level cities and 105 counties (cities and districts) under its jurisdiction. It has played a very important role in pulling economic growth, promoting industrial upgrading, promoting employment and innovation of institutional mechanisms.
Anhui has a complete range of industries. Anhui is one of the industrial bases in central China with the most complete range of industries, the most advantageous products and the strongest strength. Home appliances, automobiles, steel, non-ferrous metals, new display, industrial robotics and other industries are among the top in China. The main export commodities include laptop computers, textiles and garments, plastics and products, refrigerators, solar cells, air conditioners, automobiles and parts. There are nearly ten thousand import and export enterprises.
The open vector of Anhui is mature. Anhui province has five comprehensive bonded zones, four bonded logistics centers (type B), three national cross-border e-commerce pilot zone, 10 Customs designates supervised sites (ports). The expansion and opening of the ports of Anqing and Wuhu were approved, and the China-European Union (CEU) train in Hefei operated steadily.
